Contract Manufacturer Fusion OEM Expands Facility Again Due To Rising Demand Of Private Label Manufacturing Services
– Assembly Capacity To Increase More Than 50 Percent –
Responding to growing business demands, contract manufacturer Fusion OEM is expanding its enterprise, acquiring a new facility in the same industrial park where it already has two properties.
The move comes as demand for Fusion OEM’s contract and private label manufacturing services is steadily rising.
By moving several departments into this large office space, Fusion OEM expects to increase its total assembly capacity by more than 50 percent. The new facility also allows for the expansion of procurement and engineering personnel.
“This was absolutely the right time for this acquisition,” said business owner Craig Zoberis. “Of course we wanted to expand our assembly capacity, but our previous facility wasn’t air-conditioned in the production area. This modern, completely air-conditioned facility will create a more comfortable work atmosphere for our employees.”
News of the expansion comes just months after the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) again recognized Fusion OEM as one of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.
“The re-investment of profits in this facility is again proof of our dedication to continuously invest in the infrastructure to make Fusion OEM a great place to work and to do business with,” Zoberis said from the company headquarters in the Chicago suburb of Burr Ridge.
The address of the new facility is:
6951 High Grove Blvd.
Burr Ridge, IL 60527
The move is scheduled to take place in December 2014 and will include the assembly, administration and engineering departments. The machine shop and training center are going to remain in Building 2 (7033 High Grove Blvd.) until a future expansion, which will house both the assembly and machining departments together.
